Leather and Fabric Protection

If you have chosen to have one of our interior treatments carried out on your vehicle, and your leather has now been cleaned and refreshed, you can opt to have a protective layer added to the leather.

The protective layer offers a durable abrasion resistant matte finish which offers the best ever protection against abrasion damage, UV rays, dye transfer and other discolouration.

With added antimicrobial technology, treated surfaces will kill 99.9% of bacteria.

Friction protection is particularly important on seat bolsters, seat piping and other high-wear areas. 

The anti-stain function is most relevant for light coloured leathers which are typically stained by dark coloured fabrics such as indigo jeans.

Once applied, the protection gives 3 to 12 months durability depending on how high-wear the area protected is.

To help negate potential dirt ingress and unsightly staining, we can offer to apply a fluoro polymer based protectant to your interior fabrics.

The protectant adheres strongly to the fabric, leaving a water repellent surface which makes it hard for water to pass through unless forced. 

It is not solvent based so does not leave unwanted residues and  is safe on delicate fabrics including alcantara.
